FURUKAWA AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS INC. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") positions information security efforts as an important management issue based on the basic information security policy of its parent company, Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. shall establish systems for the appropriate use and protection of the information assets that the companies possess and systems that prevent the infringement of rights related to the information assets of third parties, and formulate “Basic Regulations on Information Security,” which all employees, etc.,(note)shall observe, to contribute to increases in the corporate value of Our company social credibility.
(note) Employees, etc.: This term means persons engaged in the business of the Furukawa Electric Group irrespective of whether they are full-time or part-time such as Directors (Members of the Board), auditors, Corporate Vice Presidents and employees (including temporary employees, temporary part-time employees, part-time employees, workers on secondment from other companies, assistants, and dispatch workers from temporary employment agencies).
